In a state of early summer bliss

It appears that I could sit outside forever.

I can barely see my computer screen. It doesn’t even matter.

It is 76 degrees and sunny. Not a cloud in the sky. I am taking in every second of this glorious weather and spending it on my humble, yet giving balcony. A piece of toast with some jam and butter, a nice, short glass of cold brew and cream, and two teeny amaretto cookies. Not to mention the long walk I took earlier when the air was crisper, and the weekly Sunday morning that I treated myself with. What’s that, you say? Two coffees in one morning?

Utter. Bliss.

I turn 27 in a few days. We’re headed to Vancouver for to celebrate. My travel senses have been tingling recently—I’m quite excited for this trip. Fingers crossed we don’t hit insane Memorial day traffic.

I’m hoping to do some “vlogging” during our trip. I’m toying with the idea of buying a selfie stick, to make for more seamless videoing… Convincing my man friend to be seen in public with me and said selfie device will be quite the uphill battle… can I pull the birthday card on this one?

Dammit—I love sunshine.
